Machine Operator

About the job

As a machine operator, you make sure the machines are set up correctly and that the production process runs without problems. You monitor the process, spot deviations, and act when needed.

What you'll do

• Setting up and operating production machines
• Checking and adjusting machine settings
• Monitoring the production process
• Carrying out checks during production
• Detecting technical deviations
• Fixing simple faults
• Doing minor maintenance work
• Checking the final production result
• Recording important production data
• Keeping your workplace tidy and safe

You work together with others in the production department. You can ask questions, learn new tasks, and over time operate the machines more independently.

• Completed vocational education at MBO 2 level or higher
• A technical mindset and interest in machines
• Willing to work a 2-shift schedule
• Accurate and independent way of working
• Attention to quality and safety
• Able to recognise technical problems
• Willing to learn new tasks and techniques
• Valid forklift licence (a plus)
