Machine Operator

About the job

As a machine operator, you make sure the production process runs safely and without disruption. You work with technical installations and you are responsible for spotting and fixing problems quickly.

What you'll do

• Operate, monitor and adjust machines and installations
• Oversee the production process
• Detect and fix minor technical faults
• Carry out checks and record process data
• Monitor production quality
• Perform simple maintenance and housekeeping tasks
• Work according to health and safety rules and quality standards
• Pass on important information at shift handover

What we ask

• MBO (Dutch vocational qualification, intermediate level) education or equivalent thinking level, preferably in a technical field
• Experience as an operator, machine operator or production worker
• Willing to work in a 5-shift rotation (continuous operations)
• Able to understand technical instructions
• Work carefully, safely and responsibly
• Stay calm and practical when something goes wrong
• Good team player
