Machine Operator

About the job

You work on production machines at a modern facility in Eindhoven. The factory specialises in high-quality tobacco products. Your job is to keep the production process running smoothly and to maintain high quality standards.

What you'll do

• Operate, monitor and adjust production machines
• Spot and fix faults and technical problems
• Carry out product and mould (die) changeovers
• Do daily quality checks and production tests
• Work according to quality, safety and hygiene rules
• Follow Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures
• Join daily shift handovers and team meetings with the shift manager
• Work a 5-shift rotation:

2 morning shifts: 06:00 – 14:00

2 afternoon shifts: 14:00 – 22:00

2 night shifts: 22:00 – 06:00

Then 4 days off

What we ask

• Experience as a machine operator or in a similar production environment
• Technical thinking and good problem-solving skills
• Good communication in Dutch or English
• Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel
• Own transport (bicycle, scooter or car)
• Available for shift work, including weekends

What we offer

• Gross hourly rate from €22.60 to €25.00
• Travel allowance: €0.23 per kilometre
• Annual bonus
• 25 days holiday and vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory bonus of around 8% of your annual salary paid once a year)
• Overtime paid at 150% – 200%
• Temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent position
