Production Machine Operator

About the job

As an operator, you run, monitor and adjust the production process. You make sure the line keeps running smoothly and that product quality stays at the right level.

What you'll do

• Setting up and changeover of production machines
• Monitoring the production process and making corrections when needed
• Carrying out quality checks and measurements
• Changing and handling steel coils
• Working with supporting equipment such as an overhead crane and forklift
• Packing and preparing finished products
• Working in a team of 2 to 3 people on one line, sharing tasks and helping each other out

• Available to work a 2-shift schedule
• Willing to learn and grow in the role
• Technical experience is a plus, but not required. Motivation is what counts most

What we offer

• Contract directly with the employer from day one
• Starting with a one-year contract, with the prospect of permanent employment
• Salary from 2,800 to 4,400 euro gross per month, depending on experience and level
• Shift allowance of 14% when working the 2-shift schedule
• Travel cost reimbursement: 0.23 euro per km
• Pension in line with the CAO (CAO is a Dutch collective labour agreement that sets minimum terms of employment)
• 25 days of annual leave
• Overtime pay up to 146%
• Opportunities to move up within the team, from Operator 3 to Operator 1
