Metal Processing Operator / Metalworker

About the job

We are looking for a metal processing operator for a production workshop in Hulst. The client has been active for over 25 years in bending and coating aluminium and steel profiles. They handle the full process: from idea and design to a finished product, ready for assembly.

What you'll do

• MIG/MAG welding
• Bending profiles
• Powder coating and finishing parts
• Working independently or as part of a team, depending on the task

What we ask

• Willingness to learn and an interest in metal processing (this role also suits people who are still building experience)
• Accuracy and attention to detail

What we offer

• Salary: €2,550 to €3,300 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week), depending on experience
• Travel cost reimbursement: €0.23 per km, from 7 km one way
• Allowances and overtime pay according to the Metaal & Techniek CAO (CAO is the Dutch collective labour agreement that sets minimum pay and conditions for a sector)
• 25 days of annual leave per year
• Vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a mandatory Dutch bonus paid on top of your salary): 8.33%
• Pension accrual from day one

• Option to obtain certificates, including VCA (VCA is a Dutch safety certificate required in many industrial workplaces) and other sector-specific ones
• Option to use a car for commuting to and from work
• Work clothing and personal protective equipment provided by the client or the uitzendbureau (staffing agency)
• Flexible pay: weekly or every 4 weeks
• A dedicated contact person who handles all the paperwork for you
