Packaging Operator

About the job

As a packaging operator, you are responsible for the packaging process running correctly. You operate and monitor machines, and you make sure quality, safety, and hygiene are up to standard.

What you'll do

• Prepare and set up packaging machines before production starts
• Operate and adjust machines during production
• Carry out quality checks and record measurements
• Detect and fix minor machine faults
• Keep your workstation clean and hygienic according to HACCP rules, and record production data

What we ask

• Basic knowledge of packaging technology, or experience as a packaging operator or in the food industry
• Available to work two shifts
• Comfortable with standing work and repetitive tasks, and living within a reasonable commute of Hedel or having your own transport

Pay and conditions

• Salary from €2,600 to €2,900 gross per month, depending on experience
• Shift allowance according to company policy
• Overtime pay according to company policy
• 28 days of holiday per year at full-time hours
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a statutory Dutch bonus paid once a year on top of your salary)

Working hours (two-shift system)

Morning shift

• Monday to Thursday: 05:00 to 14:00
• Friday: 05:00 to 17:00

Afternoon/evening shift

• Monday to Thursday: 14:00 to 23:00
• Friday: 17:00 to 06:00
