Packaging Operator

About the job

You work as a packaging operator at a factory that produces dog and cat food. You operate packaging machines, monitor the production process, and respond to breakdowns.

What you'll do

• Setting up and operating packaging machines
• Monitoring the packaging process and checking quality
• Stacking packed products on pallets and operating internal transport equipment
• Carrying out minor repairs and fixing machine faults
• Keeping records and logging breakdowns

What we ask

• Interest in technology and experience working with machines
• Ability to work independently and good teamwork skills
• Experience as an operator is a strong advantage

You work a 3-shift schedule, 38 hours per week

• Morning shift: 06:00-14:00
• Afternoon shift: 14:00-22:00
• Night shift: 22:00-06:00

Every 3 weeks you have Friday afternoon off during the afternoon shift rotation.

Salary: €2,900 to €3,400 gross per month, based on the CAO (collective labour agreement, a Dutch sector-wide pay and conditions agreement), including shift allowance. Additional benefits: year-end bonus, possibility to grow to assistant shift manager, internal training and courses.
