First Class Operator

As a First Class Operator, you combine technical skills with responsibility for your team. You look after safety and quality, keep the shift running smoothly, operate installations on your own, and supervise other operators.

**What you'll do**

• Lead second class operators and assistant operators on a functional basis
• Operate installations and related processes independently
• Spot deviations in the process or safety situation and act straight away
• Report technical faults and take part in fixing them
• Complete checklists, logbooks, and process documentation
• Suggest improvements to processes
• Carry out BHV (emergency response, including first aid and fire safety) duties within your team
• Stand in for the All-round Operator when needed

**What we ask**

• MBO level 3 diploma (Dutch vocational qualification) in process technology or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a production environment, preferably with chemical waste
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, safety protocols, and personal protective equipment
• Willing to work a 3-shift system
• BHV certificate, or willing to obtain one
