Process Operator

About the job

As a process operator, you monitor and control the production process. During your shift, you keep track of each stage of the process and check that production runs as planned and meets quality requirements.

You work independently at your station, but during every shift you have regular contact with other operators and different departments.

What you'll do

• Start, stop and set up machines and installations
• Monitor the production process
• Carry out process and quality checks
• Adjust machine settings when something is off
• Detect and fix minor technical faults
• Report bigger breakdowns to the technical department
• Record production and inspection data
• Carry out simple maintenance tasks
• Take an active part in improving the production process

What we ask

• MBO level (Dutch intermediate vocational education) of thinking and working
• Experience in a production or process environment
• Technical ability and a technical mindset
• Able to work safely and accurately
• Quality awareness
• Good command of Dutch
• Willing to work in a 5-shift rotation system
• A VAPRO diploma (Dutch process operator certificate) or other technical qualification is a plus
