About the job

You turn recipes into finished products.

As a Food Process Operator you work directly in the production process. You make sure raw materials are processed according to the right recipe and that the process runs safely and smoothly.

What you'll do

• Mix ingredients and prepare products
• Carry out production orders according to schedule and recipes
• Set up machines and production installations
• Start up machines and run test starts when needed
• Work with a scanner
• Carry out process and product checks
• Check that machines are working correctly
• Spot deviations in the process or product early
• Solve simple process problems on your own
• Record production data
• Carry out first-level maintenance every day
• Report faults to the technical department
• Flag opportunities to improve safety, quality and HSEQ
• Keep the production area clean and safe

You are responsible for your own part of the process. For more complex deviations, experienced colleagues and supervisors are available.

Employment conditions

Shift work means extra pay.

You get a full-time operator position with responsibility and room to grow.

You can count on

• €2,600 to €2,800 gross per month as base salary
• 25% shift allowance between 18:00 and 00:00
• 50% shift allowance between 00:00 and 06:00
• A 40-hour working week
• Monday to Friday
• 25 days of annual leave, with the option to buy extra days
• An attendance bonus of €150 per quarter for no sick days, subject to applicable conditions

• Start on a temporary contract (uitzendbureau, staffing agency)

Shift times

• Morning: 06:00 - 15:00
• Afternoon/evening: 14:00 - 23:00
• Night: 22:00 - 07:00

What we ask

Experience in the food industry gives you an advantage.

For this position we are looking for candidates who understand that precise work has a direct effect on food quality and safety.

• You are available 40 hours a week
• You are willing to work a 3-shift system
• You preferably have at least 1 year of recent production experience
• Experience in the food industry is a strong plus
• Experience with mixing, cooking, preparing or operating process installations is a big advantage
• You can set up machines and recognise deviations
• You can work precisely according to recipes and production orders
• You are physically able to do production work
• You speak Dutch or fluent English
• Own transport is a plus due to the location's accessibility
• You work hygienically and with attention to safety
