Production Operator / Packaging Operator

About the job

You work as an independent operator on a production line at a modern fruit and vegetable processing plant in Geldermalsen. You oversee the entire production process, respond to deviations, and keep the line running smoothly and at the right quality.

What you'll do

• You set up, change over, and adjust complete production lines
• You monitor process parameters, recipes, and quality requirements
• You diagnose and fix minor malfunctions on your own. For bigger issues, you support the technical department
• You carry out and record process and quality checks
• You flag improvement opportunities and support and coordinate the work of basic operators and temporary workers

What we ask

• Experience operating multiple machines or working in a complex production environment
• Knowledge of HACCP principles, safety and quality standards, and experience recording process data
• Willingness to work in a three-shift system and a good command of Dutch, English, or German

Employment conditions

• Salary including shift allowance: up to €4,043 gross per month
• Salary excluding shift allowance: €2,650 to €3,300 gross per month, depending on age and experience
• Fixed annual bonus: 4.5%
• Vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a standard Dutch payment of 8% of your annual salary): 8%
• 25 vacation days plus 9.5 ADV days (ADV: scheduled days off as part of a shorter working week arrangement)
• A solid pension scheme
• Travel cost reimbursement: €0.23 per kilometre
• Shift times in the three-shift system:

Morning shift: 06:45 to 15:15

Afternoon shift: 14:45 to 23:15

Night shift: 22:45 to 07:15
