Production Operator
About the job
You work as a technical operator in an organised production environment. Each shift starts with a handover from the previous shift. You make sure production runs safely and according to plan.
What you'll do
- Operate, set up and changeover production machines
- Carry out quality checks according to set standards
- Monitor the production schedule and output
- Perform first-line maintenance and preventive maintenance
- Fix minor faults and report more complex breakdowns
- Record production and quality data
- Take part in improvements related to safety and efficiency
Shift times (2 shifts)
Morning shift: 06:00 - 14:00
Afternoon shift: 14:00 - 22:00
Onboarding
You start with a structured onboarding programme. In the first weeks, experienced operators guide you and you work with clear operating instructions for each machine. After about a month, you can work independently on several machines.
What we ask
- Available full time
- Willing to work a 2-shift schedule
- Technical understanding and interest in production processes
- Dutch or English language skills, needed for safety instructions
- Experience as an operator or machine handler
- Certificates such as VCA (Dutch safety certificate for contractors) or forklift, or willing to obtain them
- Living near Tiel, Geldermalsen, Zaltbommel or Culemborg, or willing to commute
What we offer
- Gross monthly salary of €2,900 to €3,600, depending on experience
- 25% shift allowance
- 25 vacation days based on full-time employment

You work at a client company that is an international manufacturer of sustainable insulation and building solutions. The company supplies products for energy-efficient and circular buildings and operates in more than 80 countries. At the Tiel site, you work in a team of around 20 to 25 operators, led by a production team leader. The work environment is clean, safe and well organised.
