Food Production Operator

About the job

You control every production batch.

As a Food Production Operator, you play a key role in the production process. You make sure ingredients are processed according to the recipe, with food quality and safety kept in order.

What you'll do

• Mix and prepare food products
• Follow production orders and recipes
• Set up machines and production equipment
• Start up equipment and run test starts
• Work with a scanner
• Carry out quality checks on the process and product
• Monitor machine performance
• Spot deviations in the process or product
• Solve basic operational problems on your own
• Record production information
• Do basic daily maintenance
• Report technical faults
• Identify improvements in HSEQ and processes
• Keep the production area clean and safe

Employment conditions

Your shifts increase your monthly earnings.

What you can expect

• Basic salary from €2,600 to €2,800 gross per month
• 25% shift supplement for hours between 18:00 and 00:00
• 50% shift supplement for hours between 00:00 and 06:00
• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 25 days of annual leave, with the option to buy extra days
• Quarterly attendance bonus of €150, subject to applicable conditions

Shift hours

• Morning: 06:00 - 15:00
• Afternoon/evening: 14:00 - 23:00
• Night: 22:00 - 07:00

What we ask

Experience in food production gives you an advantage.

• You are available 40 hours per week
• You are willing to work a 3-shift schedule
• At least 1 year of recent production experience is preferred
• Experience in food production is a strong plus
• Experience with mixing, cooking or operating process equipment is an extra advantage
• You can set up machines and spot irregularities
• You can work accurately according to recipes
• You are physically able to do production work
• You speak English or Dutch fluently
• Having your own transport is preferred
• You work safely and hygienically
