Dry Ice Production Operator

Dordrecht
€15,70 – €15,87 /hrFull-timeEnglishRotating shifts

About the job

As a dry ice operator, you play an important role in the production process. You make sure the machines run without problems, products meet quality requirements, and orders are ready to ship on time. You work with modern installations that produce dry ice in different forms: pellets, blocks, and discs. During the day your tasks vary. Sometimes you monitor the production process, other times you drive a forklift or check the warehouse stock. A full onboarding programme teaches you all parts of the process step by step. There is room to grow further in the technical and production side of the business.

What you'll do

  • Produce dry ice in different forms
  • Operate, monitor, and adjust production machines
  • Monitor product quality and the production process
  • Register containers in the system
  • Move containers by forklift
  • Pack products at the production line
  • Print and apply labels
  • Clean and disinfect machines and tools
  • Check stock levels of materials and packaging
  • Record production data and logs
  • Communicate with colleagues about planning, quality, and safety

You work in a modern production environment where safety comes first. The machines are noisy, so you wear ear protection. The end product has a temperature of -80 degrees, so you wear gloves, a hairnet, and safety shoes. Work is in two shifts: 06:00-15:00 and 15:00-23:00. Depending on the schedule, shifts may end earlier or run longer to complete orders. Occasionally working on weekends and public holidays is part of the role.

What we ask

  • Experience as an operator, production worker, or machine operator is a plus
  • Technical thinking and interest in production processes
  • A valid forklift certificate, preferably with at least 3 years of validity remaining
  • Ability to travel to Dordrecht by your own transport
  • Willingness to work in a two-shift system
  • Flexibility to adapt to planning needs

  • Full onboarding programme and mentoring
  • Opportunities to advance within an international organisation
  • Option to receive weekly pay
  • Access to the Mijn Actief app for scheduling and documents
