Shovel Operator / Mobile Crane Operator

About the job

You work at a large facility in Rozenburg that handles waste processing and the recovery of energy and raw materials. Large amounts of waste arrive at the site every day. It needs to be moved and processed. As a shovel operator and mobile crane operator, you play an important role in that process.

What you'll do

• Load, unload and move waste streams using a shovel.
• Operate a mobile crane with a sorting grab to sort and move materials.
• Carry out internal transport work using a terminal truck.
• Check machines and report any faults or damage.
• Work together with colleagues to keep the work safe and running smoothly.
• Work both outside and in large covered halls where waste is stored.

Working hours - 3-shift rotation, Monday to Friday

• Morning shift: 06:30 - 14:30
• Afternoon shift: 14:30 - 22:30
• Night shift: 22:30 - 06:30

What we ask

• Experience operating a shovel and/or mobile crane.
• Ability to operate a terminal truck.
• Willing to work a 3-shift rotation (Mon-Fri).
• Able to work independently and take responsibility when operating machines.
• Good team player.

What we offer

• Salary from €3,370 to €3,800 gross per month, including shift allowance.
• Paid breaks - you are at work for only 8 hours a day, including your break.
• Free weekends - you only work Monday to Friday.
• Full time, 40 hours per week in a 3-shift rotation.
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometre.
• Option to work extra shifts with the applicable allowances.
• 25 days of holiday per year and 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory annual bonus on top of your salary).
• Participation in a pension scheme.
• Work with various machines and rotate between tasks.
