Technical Operator

About the job

You work with production machines at a steel processing plant. You set up and operate the machines. No experience as an operator needed. The company trains you from the start.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate production machines
• Change machine settings when switching to a different product
• Monitor the production process
• Find and fix small technical faults
• Carry out quality checks and follow safety rules

What we ask

• Interest in technical work and willingness to do physical work, for example DIY, or repairing cars, motorbikes, bikes, or machines
• Willingness to learn new technical skills and take part in internal training
• Good knowledge of Dutch and willingness to work shifts

Employment conditions

• Salary from €3,000 to €4,000 gross per month, including shift allowance
• Full time, average 38.33 hours per week
• 40 days off per year
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a Dutch statutory bonus paid once a year on top of your salary)
• 2% annual bonus

Shift schedule

• Morning shift: 06:30 - 15:00
• Afternoon shift: 15:00 - 23:30
• Night shift: 23:30 - 06:30
• Sunday night shift starts at 22:30 and ends at 05:30
