About the job

A Terminal Operator is a key role in the daily operations of a chemical terminal in Botlek, Rotterdam. You make sure loading and unloading processes run safely and smoothly, and you actively help improve how the terminal works.

What you'll do

• Make sure loading and unloading processes run safely and smoothly
• Actively take part in improvements at the terminal
• Work according to the applicable safety standards
• Report to the Shift Teamleader and work closely with the team

What we ask

• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• VAPRO B certificate (a Dutch process technology qualification)
• The following certificates: Rangeren (shunting), Gasmeten (gas measurement), Vorkheftruck (forklift), BHV (in-company emergency response), and Loadingmaster
• Fluent Dutch, plus basic English or German
• Eye for quality, discipline, safety awareness, and reliability

What we offer

• Salary from €2,800 to €4,000 gross per month
• Permanent contract for 40 hours per week
• Pension with no employee contribution
• 13th month payment

• Vacation pay (vakantiegeld: a statutory Dutch allowance of 8% of annual salary, paid once a year)
• Travel cost reimbursement
• Depending on the role and the opdrachtgever (the client company you work for), the recruitment process may include a reference check and verification of diplomas and certificates
