Bakery Operator

About the job

You work as an operator on a production line in a modern bakery in Emmeloord. You run the machines, check quality, and keep the production of fresh bread running smoothly every day.

What you'll do

• Prepare dough: weighing, mixing, and fermenting ingredients
• Operate, set up, and monitor production lines and machines
• Monitor the production process and respond when something is off
• Carry out quality checks (colour, texture, taste)
• Detect and fix small technical faults, and keep the workplace clean and tidy according to HACCP rules

What we ask

• Experience in a production environment is a plus, but not required. Internal training is possible
• Interest in food, technology, or production processes
• Willing to work a 3-shift schedule, including weekends

Employment conditions

• Gross salary: €2,850 to €3,550 per month, not including shift allowances
• Shift allowances: 34% extra for evening shifts, 37% for night shifts, and 100% for weekend shifts
• Travel reimbursement: €0.23 per km for distances over 10 km one way
• Vakantiegeld (mandatory Dutch holiday pay, 8% of gross salary) and 25 days of leave per year at full-time hours
• Training budget for professional development
• 3-shift schedule: 07:00–15:00, 15:00–23:00, 23:00–07:00
• Same employment conditions as direct employees, including allowances, ADV (reduced working hours days), and leave
• Good prospects for long-term work
