This site in Hengelo is a European market leader in chemicals for the construction, cleaning, pharmaceutical and water treatment industries. As a drilling tower operator, you are responsible for the technical condition and safety of the drilling installations. There is plenty of room to learn and grow. What you'll do
- Carry out maintenance work on drilling tower installations
- Install drilling installations
- Take responsibility for quality, environment, costs and safety
- Collect and process technical data
- Think creatively when managing the drilling process (no two drillings are the same, so you need to respond differently depending on the situation)
What we ask
We are looking for a drilling tower operator who is enthusiastic and wants to understand complex drilling processes. We also ask for:
- At least an MBO level 3 qualification (Dutch vocational education), preferably in mechanical engineering, operational technology or mechatronics
- A VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for working in hazardous environments), or willingness to obtain one
- An IWCF level 3 certificate, or willingness to obtain one
- A driving licence for categories BE, CE and/or tractor, or willingness to obtain these
- Experience as a technical operator in the process industry
- Willingness to work outdoors
