Cutting Department Operator

About the job

You work as an operator in the cutting department, on a two-shift schedule. You run production machines, keep an eye on product quality, and make sure production keeps running.

What you'll do

• You prepare production orders: you gather materials and set up the machine before the run starts.
• You monitor the production process and keep things running smoothly while the machine is running.
• You check quality: you spot problems and fix them as they come up.
• You keep the machine and your workstation clean and in good condition.
• You fix small faults to keep downtime to a minimum.

What we ask

• Experience as a machine operator, setter, or production worker. Experience in die-cutting or the paper or cardboard industry is a plus.
• A good enough level of Dutch to understand safety instructions.
• You live near Nijmegen, Arnhem, or Tiel.

Conditions

• Full-time, permanent contract, two-shift schedule.
• Salary from €3,200 to €3,900 gross per month, growing as you develop.
• 12% shift allowance.
• 32 days off per year.
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a standard Dutch bonus paid once a year) and travel costs reimbursed.
• New production facility with modern equipment and a staff canteen.
• A good atmosphere in a small team of around 50 people.

Working hours

• Morning shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00.
• Afternoon shift: Monday to Thursday, 14:00 to 23:00. Friday, 14:00 to 18:00.
