Industrial Sandblaster

A client near Heerhugowaard is looking for an industrial sandblaster to work on abrasive blasting of metal parts and structures. The work takes place in an industrial setting, with a focus on safety and quality.

What you'll do

• Clean metal surfaces by sandblasting (abrasive blasting)
• Prepare surfaces for painting or applying protective coatings
• Choose the right abrasive materials for each type of surface
• Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment
• Check the quality of the finished surface treatment
• Follow health and safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment
• Keep the work area clean and tidy

What we ask

• Experience in sandblasting or related surface work
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for contractors) is a plus
• Knowledge of safety rules when working with abrasive materials and dust
• Ability to work in an industrial environment
• Communicative level of English or Dutch
• Availability for full-time work
• Category B driving licence and own transport
