Production Planner

About the job

You work as a Production Planner in a modern factory in Oss. The factory makes cans for large brands in the drinks industry. You are a key link in keeping the production process running smoothly every day. This is a full-time job, day shifts, in a team of planners and production staff.

What you'll do

• Build the daily production plan and order raw materials
• Create the weekly label allocation and a proposal for the weekly plan
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders when there are deviations from the plan
• Ensure optimal sequencing and coordinate with the requirements of different regions
• Check product readiness and coordinate with supply departments
• Monitor and coordinate the feasibility of the production plan
• Take part in process improvement projects in the factory

What we ask

• HBO level education (Dutch higher professional education) or equivalent experience
• APICS or Green Belt certification is a plus
• At least 2 years of experience as a production planner or in a similar role in FMCG or high-volume manufacturing; candidates without this experience are also welcome to apply
• Knowledge of order sequencing, inventory management strategies and ordering methods (MRP, CRP)
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Dutch and English language skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and Power BI
• Ability to move easily between different departments and processes
• Ability to spot and implement process improvements

• Salary from €3,820 to €5,500 gross per month, depending on experience
• 27 holiday days and 13 ADV days (reduced working hours days) per year
