Driver's Assistant / Sewer Cleaning

**About the job**

You work as a driver's assistant cleaning and maintaining sewer systems. You work at different locations and learn the trade step by step on the job.

**What you'll do**

• Mark and prepare the work site safely
• Clean sewers, manholes and pumping stations using modern equipment
• Support inspection and maintenance work
• Use tablets and remote controls
• Record completed work and observations

**What we ask**

• Category B driving licence (category E can be obtained later)
• Available full time (36-40 hours per week) and willing to obtain a VCA certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certificate for construction and technical work)
• Good command of Dutch and living near Tilburg

**Employment conditions**

• Salary €2,973.75 gross per month (including 3.5% ADV, a Dutch arrangement for reducing working hours) for full-time work
• Travel expenses reimbursed at €0.23 per km
• Choice of weekly or 4-weekly pay
• 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a mandatory Dutch bonus paid once a year) and 25 days of leave
• Option to work 4 days a week
• Direct contract with the employer
• Certificates (VCA and compressed air) paid for by the employer
• Possibility to obtain a category C driving licence and advance to driver
