About the job
As a fitter's assistant, you play an important role in building and maintaining technical installations. You work on different projects across the Netherlands, from underground fuel tanks to chemical installations. Together with a permanent colleague, you make sure clients can rely on safe and well-functioning systems.
What you'll do
- Install fuel and chemical tanks and the pipe systems that go with them
- Carry out regular inspections and maintenance on installations
- Test and inspect systems according to current standards and guidelines
- Fix technical faults and keep installations running well
- Communicate with colleagues and clients to keep projects on track
What we ask
- Interest in installation technology, especially tank systems
- Technical ability and a hands-on attitude
- Willingness to take part in training and courses
- Accuracy, a structured way of working, and a sense of responsibility
- No experience needed, you can start as a beginner
What we offer
- Gross pay from €2,600 to €3,200 per 4 weeks (roughly €3,300 to €4,400 per month)
- Permanent contract
- Working week of 36 to 40 hours, to be agreed
- Good secondary conditions under the CAO (collective labour agreement) Bouw & Infra
- Travel costs reimbursed or use of a company bus
