Building and Maintenance Technician

About the job

As a building and maintenance technician, you do a variety of tasks in and around the facility. No two days are the same. You make sure the workplace is safe, tidy and well organised.

What you'll do

• Carry out maintenance and repair work on buildings, outdoor areas and facility installations
• Complete small technical, construction and facility management tasks
• Support colleagues in production and technical departments when needed
• Monitor compliance with safety, order, cleanliness and environmental requirements
• Work according to applicable health and safety rules and procedures
• Record monthly meter readings for gas, water and electricity
• Maintain green areas, outdoor lighting and basic electrical installations
• Coordinate and supervise inspections and repairs of company vehicles
• Check and top up fluids and basic supplies in the vehicle fleet
• Do light transport work and occasionally drive as needed
• Carry out reception and facility management tasks in the organisation
• Report opportunities for improvement and take an active part in making processes more efficient
• Build safety awareness among colleagues

What we ask

• Technical ability and a willingness to do maintenance and repair work
• Experience in a facility management, technical or maintenance role is a plus, but not required
• Category B driving licence
