Warehouse / Dispatch Worker

About the job

The client is a family business with a long history in the food sector. From several locations, they deliver high-quality poultry products and catering supplies every day to shops, restaurants and business customers in the Netherlands and abroad. As a warehouse and dispatch worker, you are an important part of the warehouse team. You make sure goods are received, stored and shipped according to the procedures.

What you'll do

• Receive, check and store goods according to the current procedures
• Pick orders using pick lists and prepare them for shipment
• Load and unload trucks and keep stock records correct
• Work according to the FIFO system (first in, first out)
• Process logistics documents
• Work in the freezer, cold store and dry warehouse
• Keep quality, safety and order in the workplace

What we ask

• Experience as a warehouse, dispatch or logistics worker
• Experience operating an electric pallet truck and order picker
• You speak Dutch, English or German
• Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety rules is a plus

What we offer

• Salary from €2,500 to €3,000 gross per month, depending on experience and education
• Possibility of a permanent contract
• Work in a modern logistics centre in Nuth
