Cashier

About the job

You work at the checkout in a supermarket on the island of Terschelling. You are the first and last point of contact for many customers. Besides working at the checkout, you also help with different tasks around the store.

What you'll do

• Serve customers and scan their shopping at the checkout
• Process returns and deposit bottles
• Answer customer questions
• Restock products on the shelves
• Keep the store tidy and displays easy to read
• Work together with colleagues during busy hours

What we ask

• Minimum age 16
• No experience as a cashier required
• A friendly attitude towards customers and a willingness to learn
• Open and able to work with different kinds of people
• Available to start right away
• Flexible and motivated to work
• A team player

• €14.99 gross per hour for ages 21 and above
