Ditch maintenance worker

About the job

You work outside and operate a mobile crane. As a ditch maintenance worker, you keep ditches, canals and waterways in good condition. You work on your own and with colleagues on different projects in the north of the Netherlands.

What you'll do

• Carry out ditch maintenance using a mobile crane and various attachments
• Clean out ditches, canals and waterways to improve water flow
• Remove vegetation, reeds and other obstructions from ditches and verges

What we ask

• A valid category T driving licence
• Experience with a mobile crane, or willing to learn
• You enjoy working outside and you are reliable

What we offer

• Gross hourly rate from €15.98 to €20.06
• Travel costs reimbursed at €0.23 per kilometre
• Work with modern, well-maintained equipment
• Varied outdoor work with a lot of independence
• The ditch maintenance season runs until around mid-November, after which there are opportunities to continue working in infrastructure or agricultural services
• Good onboarding and support from colleagues
