Logistics Worker / Parcel Sorter

About the job

As a logistics worker at a client company in Sliedrecht, you are an important part of the sorting process. Thousands of parcels are processed every day. Your work makes sure they arrive on time and in the right place. This is an active role. You are on the move constantly and you keep the workplace tidy and safe.

What you'll do

• Sorting: placing parcels in the right location for further processing
• Loading and unloading: loading and unloading trucks efficiently
• Scanning: registering and checking parcels using handheld scanners
• Moving goods: transporting goods and parcels within the warehouse
• Keeping the workplace tidy: maintaining order and safe working conditions

What we ask

• You live within 10 to 20 km of Prisma 50 in Sliedrecht. This is a hard requirement.
• You do not depend on public transport. You have your own way to get to work.
• You are able to do physical work: lifting, standing, and walking
• You are flexible and available during morning hours
• You speak Dutch or English
• You can work on your own and as part of a team

What we offer

• €14.99 gross per hour
• A temporary contract in a flexible form, through a uitzendbureau (staffing agency)
• Part-time work: 10 to 20 hours per week
• Extra allowances for morning hours
• Travel costs reimbursed
• Good support during your first weeks
• Equal pay conditions: your holiday leave, allowances, overtime pay, and other pay components match those of workers employed directly by the client company
