Warehouse Worker / Order Picker

About the job

A large transport company in Hoogeveen is looking for warehouse workers to pick orders. The warehouse stores frozen food products that go to supermarket shelves. You work in cold conditions down to -22°C.

What you'll do

• Pick orders using a voice-picking system
• Prepare orders for shipment
• Label roll containers
• Work with frozen food products in temperatures down to -22°C

What we ask

• Willingness to work in cold conditions (down to -22°C)
• Available for shift work, including weekends and public holidays
• At least 18 years old (the hourly rate applies to workers aged 18 and over)

What we offer

• Temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent position
• Gross hourly rate (18+): €14.99
• Shift allowance of 13.75% on every hour worked
• Saturday allowance: 150% of the hourly rate
• Sunday and public holiday allowance: 200% of the hourly rate
• Cold work allowance: €0.25 gross per hour
• Picking performance bonus: €1.20 to €2.00 gross per hour
• Paid breaks (you work 6.75 hours and get paid for 8 hours)
• Suitable thermal protective clothing provided by the client
