Warehouse Worker Building Materials

About the job

You work as an all-round warehouse worker at a family business in Delft that supplies building materials. Your work combines forklift and reach truck operation with order picking, goods checks and direct contact with customers. You are on the move all day, both outside and inside the warehouse.

What you'll do

• Load and unload trucks
• Move and store building materials using a forklift and reach truck
• Pick and prepare orders
• Check incoming and outgoing goods
• Check, collect and process delivery documents
• Make sure orders are complete and correct before transport
• Help customers who collect materials, in a friendly and professional way
• Report problems and discuss them with colleagues
• Keep the workplace tidy, safe and organised
• Work with the team to keep daily logistics running smoothly

What we ask

• Valid forklift certificate and reach truck certificate
• Customer-friendly attitude and comfortable with regular contact with regular customers
• Knowledge of structural building materials is a plus
• Available every Wednesday, full day
• Willing to work at least 1 and at most 2 Saturdays per 4 weeks

What we offer

• Gross salary from €2,700 to €3,300 per month based on 40 hours per week, depending on experience
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Working hours Monday to Friday: 07:00-16:00 or 08:00-17:00
• Saturday hours: 08:00-12:00, on average 1 to 2 Saturdays per 4 weeks
• 50% Saturday allowance
• 25 vacation days and 12 ATV days (ATV: extra days off as part of a shorter working week arrangement)
