About the job

The client is VDL in Amersfoort, where advanced technical systems are made. This is not mass production. The work requires precision and attention. You work in a modern production environment with interesting materials and clear work instructions.

What you'll do

• Assembling and mounting metal parts and structures
• Working from technical drawings and work instructions
• Drilling and making holes and cutouts in metal parts
• Joining different components together
• Checking dimensions and quality
• Spotting and reporting deviations
• Keeping your workstation tidy and safe

What we ask

• Experience in technical assembly, mechanical assembly or metalworking
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Confident using power tools and hand tools
• Precise and quality-focused
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Enough Dutch or English to understand work and safety instructions
• Available full-time
• Able to apply for a VOG (certificate of good conduct) if required

A plus if you have

• Experience in the defence, aerospace or high-tech industry
• Experience with welding, spot welding or other joining techniques
• Knowledge of quality and safety procedures in a production environment

What we offer

• Gross hourly rate of €16.25 to €17.00, depending on experience
• Weekly pay, every Friday
• 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, paid on top of your wage)
• 25 days of leave
