Trailer Assembly Worker

About the job

This company is in the TOP 100 manufacturing companies in the Netherlands. They build high-quality trailers for customers in different countries. At their site near Nijmegen, they are looking for a full-time assembly worker on day shifts. You will be part of a team of around 15 people. You will learn different stages of trailer production by working at various assembly stations.

What you'll do

• Prepare and assemble axles
• Assemble various mechanical parts
• Prepare and lay electrical wiring
• Prepare and assemble hoses and pipe connections
• Prepare and assemble wooden floors
• Check assembled parts and carry out quality checks
• Work at different assembly stations using technical drawings and work instructions

What we ask

• A technical background or experience, for example as a car mechanic, or experience in assembly and working with tools
• Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions, or willingness to learn this
• Good English, which is used day to day at work. Dutch is a plus
• Your own housing in the Netherlands, or the ability to arrange this yourself
• Looking for long-term work on day shifts
• A team player, reliable, and motivated to learn new tasks
• Good with your hands and enjoy practical work

What we offer

• Full-time work at a leading manufacturing company in the Netherlands
• Fixed hours, Monday to Friday, day shifts
• Long-term employment with the possibility of a permanent contract
• Gross salary of €3,100 to €3,300 per month based on 40 hours per week
• 25 vacation days and 13 extra days off (ADV days, reduced working hours days as part of the CAO, the Dutch collective labour agreement)
• Vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a mandatory annual bonus under Dutch law) of 8%
• Travel costs reimbursed
