Production Worker – 2-shift

About the job

You work in the production of organic growing substrates for edible mushrooms. The facility is modern and clean. You work a 2-shift schedule with occasional day shifts.

What you'll do

• You supply raw materials to the mixers to keep production running smoothly
• You monitor sterilisation and inoculation processes in the clean room
• You operate packing lines and check that 2.5 kg bags are filled correctly
• You monitor and record production parameters to maintain quality
• You clean equipment and workstations following hygiene rules

What we ask

• Experience as an operator or production worker, preferably in the food industry
• Good command of Dutch or English
• Own transport and accommodation near Heerewaarden

Employment conditions

• Gross pay from €2,233 to €2,855 per 4 weeks, depending on experience
• Shift allowance of 12.63%
• High overtime rates: 150% on weekdays, 200% at weekends, 300% on public holidays
• Full-time 40 hours per week on a 2-shift schedule
• Temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent contract
• 25 holiday days plus around 13 extra ADV days (reduced working hours days) per year
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a statutory Dutch bonus paid on top of your salary) in line with the Dutch CAO (CAO: collective labour agreement that sets pay and conditions)
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per km up to 25 km one way for every day worked
• Choice of weekly pay or pay every 4 weeks
