Production Worker – Mixing Department

About the job

You work in the mixing department in Waspik. Here, raw materials are combined according to recipes to make products like sambal and sauces. You use pumps, mixing installations, and a forklift. You work accurately and you are comfortable with physical work. Some raw materials weigh 25 kg.

What you'll do

• Collecting, checking, and preparing raw materials
• Pumping liquid raw materials into the right installations
• Weighing and adding ingredients according to the recipe
• Mixing and processing different raw materials
• Adding raw materials by hand, including bags of 25 kg
• Operating and monitoring pumps, mixing installations, and other production equipment
• Moving raw materials and goods with a forklift
• Monitoring the production process and reporting any problems on time
• Recording production data and cleaning data
• Keeping the installations and workplace clean
• Working according to quality, hygiene, and food safety rules

What we ask

• Good command of Dutch and English, spoken and understood
• Experience operating a forklift
• Physically fit enough to lift and handle raw materials and bags up to 25 kg
• Careful and hygienic way of working
• Able to follow a recipe accurately
• Flexible and willing to help colleagues in production
• Comfortable working in a small team
• You spot what needs to be done without being told and you take initiative
• Reliable and you stick to agreements
• Experience in the food industry or another production environment is a plus, but not required

• Salary from €2,800 to €3,200 gross per month, depending on age and experience
