Production worker sand casting foundry

About the job

Do you want to learn a technical trade and do you like physical work? As a production worker at a sand casting foundry in Venlo, you will work at a specialist aluminium foundry. Aluminium parts are made here using sand casting, a traditional casting technique where skill and precision matter. Experience in a foundry is welcome, but not required. The opdrachtgever (client company) is mainly looking for someone with motivation and a willingness to learn a technical trade. You will be guided and trained by experienced colleagues.

What you'll do

• Carry out a range of production tasks in the sand casting foundry
• Help create and process sand moulds for aluminium castings
• Support different stages of the casting process
• Handle and transport aluminium castings
• Check products for visible defects and quality issues
• Carry out preparation and support tasks
• Work with various tools and production equipment
• Follow health and safety rules and work instructions
• Keep the workplace clean, safe and tidy
• Learn different tasks and techniques used in the foundry

Working hours: full-time day shift, Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:45.
