Production Worker Die Casting
## About the job
Do you want to learn a technical trade and work in a production environment where you actually make things? As a production worker at a die casting foundry in Venlo, you will work in a modern high-pressure die casting facility. The plant produces high-quality aluminium parts for various technical and industrial applications. In high-pressure die casting, liquid aluminium is forced into a steel mould under high pressure. This is done using modern, largely automated machines that produce aluminium parts in larger series with high dimensional accuracy.
## What you'll do
- Carry out a wide range of production tasks in the high-pressure die casting foundry
- Support the production of aluminium castings
- Work with and around automated die casting machines
- Monitor the production process and report any deviations
- Check the quality of aluminium parts
- Carry out various tasks related to the casting process
- Work according to the applicable safety and work instructions
- Handle machines, materials and tools with care
- Keep the workplace clean, safe and tidy
- Receive internal training in the various tasks and techniques used in the foundry
**Working hours**
You work full time in a 2-shift rotation:
- Morning shift: 06:00 - 14:30
- Afternoon shift: 14:30 - 23:00
You receive a shift allowance of 14% for working in the 2-shift system.
## What we ask
- No previous foundry experience required, motivation and willingness to learn matter more than experience
- Experience in a production environment or foundry is a plus
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
- Commitment and a desire to learn the trade in practice
