Production Worker in a Print Shop

About the job

As a production worker in a print shop, you are an important part of the production process. You make sure the machines keep running and you support the operators where needed.

What you'll do

• Loading printing machines with cardboard, sheets, and inks
• Unpacking, checking, and delivering paper and cardboard rolls
• Moving materials around the site using an EPT (electric pallet truck)
• Helping with machine setup and fixing small faults
• Recording the use of raw materials and supplies
• Keeping the workplace clean, safe, and tidy
• Removing and disposing of production waste and leftover materials

What we ask

• A thinking and working level equal to MBO (Dutch secondary vocational education)
• An interest in technology or experience in a production environment
• Willingness to work in a 3- and 4-shift schedule
• A valid EPT certificate is a plus
• Accurate and quality-focused way of working
• Good physical condition and a hands-on attitude
• Able to work in a team and a sense of responsibility

What we offer

• Full-time, 36 hours per week
• Work in a modern and clean production environment
• Salary from €15.50 to €18.00 gross per hour, based on knowledge and experience
• Shift allowance
• Possibility to grow to operator or machine operator
• Internal training and courses
• Good employment conditions in line with the CAO (collective labour agreement)
• Prospect of a permanent contract
