Groundworker

About the job

This is outdoor work where every day is different. One day you lay sewer pipes, the next you operate machinery or fix a technical problem on site. Work takes place in and around Paesens, Monday to Friday, usually 07:00 to 16:00. Start times can vary depending on the location.

What you'll do

• Carry out complex groundwork and sewer work, following safety and quality standards
• Operate a (mini) crane and excavator on your own
• Solve technical problems quickly on site so work keeps moving
• Lay and repair sewer networks
• Prepare construction sites for the next phase of work
• Keep tools and materials clean and in good condition
• Work both on your own and as part of a team

What we ask

• At least one year of hands-on experience as a groundworker
• Ability to operate a (mini) crane and excavator
• Category B driving licence
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Willingness to work at different locations
• Flexible with working hours

What we offer

• Gross pay between €2,598 and €3,139 per month, depending on age and experience
• Paid every week, every Friday
• Travel costs reimbursed at €0.23 per kilometre
• A fixed contact person at the uitzendbureau (staffing agency) who handles all the paperwork
