Farm Worker – Pigs and Poultry (Part-Time)

What you'll do

• Care for pigs and free-range chickens
• Do daily check rounds
• Collect eggs and check their quality
• Check and maintain the drinking and feeding systems
• Clean the pig stalls and chicken coops, including pressure washing
• Watch the animals for health issues and report anything unusual
• Keep the work area clean and safe
• Help with other day-to-day tasks on the farm

This is a part-time role, around 16 hours a week. The salary shown is based on a full-time week of 40 hours.

What we ask

• Some experience with pigs and/or poultry
• Able to spot and report health issues in pigs and poultry
• Can work independently and takes initiative

What we offer

• €15.00 to €18.00 gross per hour, depending on age, CAO (collective labour agreement) and experience
• Room to grow, including the option to get certified
• A permanent contract is possible if things go well
