About the job
You work at Schiphol Airport as a cleaning operative. You can choose part-time or full-time hours. The hourly rate is between €15.52 and €23.28 gross.
What you'll do
- Clean and maintain all toilets before and after the customs zone, including women's, men's and accessible toilets
- Empty bins and keep all areas clean and tidy
- Wash, mop and care for floors
- Carry out various other cleaning tasks
- Act as a host or hostess: answer passengers' questions in a friendly, professional and helpful way
What we ask
- Good command of Dutch or English
- Available at least 3 days a week
- Living in the Netherlands for more than 8 years (required to obtain a Schiphol security pass)
What we offer
- Base rate €15.52 gross per hour (from age 21), up to €23.28 per hour
- Supplements: 130% for evening hours on weekdays (last 45 minutes of the shift) and for night work, 150% for weekend work
- Payment every Tuesday, or every 4 weeks
- Travel cost reimbursement: €0.14 per km (maximum €8.40 per day), or full reimbursement of public transport costs when you buy a season ticket
- 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory bonus paid on top of your salary)
- 25 days of leave (based on full-time hours)
