Cleaner - primary school

About the job

We are looking for a cleaner for a primary school in Maria Hoop. This is a temporary position. You work in a calm and organised environment. Every day you make sure pupils and staff can start in a clean building.

What you'll do

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, entrances and toilets
• Vacuuming and mopping floors
• Wiping desks, tables, windowsills and other surfaces
• Cleaning and disinfecting toilets and sinks
• Emptying bins and replacing bags
• Refilling toilet paper, soap and paper towels
• Reporting defects and issues
• Keeping the school a clean, hygienic and pleasant place for everyone

Working hours: Monday to Friday, preferred hours 15:00-17:00. The hours are open to some negotiation, but because of school closing times, working between 15:00 and 17:00 is preferred.

What we ask

• At least 18 years old
• Available Monday to Friday
• Living in Maria Hoop or the immediate area
• Dutch or English language skills
• Able to request a VOG (verklaring omtrent gedrag, a certificate of good conduct) if needed
• Experience in cleaning is a plus, but not required

What we offer

• Starting rate €15.52 gross per hour (from age 20)
• With experience, up to €17.05 gross per hour
• Weekly pay on Tuesdays, or every 4 weeks, your choice
• 25 holiday days based on full-time hours
