Ground Worker

About the job

You work as a ground worker on construction and infrastructure projects in Friesland. You prepare building sites and carry out groundwork by hand and with machines.

What you'll do

• You carry out groundwork and digging using hand tools and machines
• You prepare sites for surfaces, foundations and structures
• You help with laying sewage systems, cables and pipes
• Levelling and backfilling ground for a stable base
• You work together with machine operators and other workers to keep projects running smoothly and neatly

What we ask

• You are physically fit and motivated to work outdoors
• You hold a VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certification for construction and industry) or you are willing to get one
• You hold a category B driving licence
