Groundworker / Construction Worker

About the job

You work outside on groundwork and cable laying for construction and infrastructure projects in Leeuwarden. The work is physical and varied. You work in a steady team and the project runs for at least one year.

What you'll do

• You do groundwork and excavation by hand and with machines
• You prepare the ground for paving, foundations and structures
• You help with laying sewage pipes, cables and conduits
• You level and raise the ground to create a stable base
• You work together with machine operators and other workers on the site

What we ask

• You are physically fit and happy to work outside
• You have a VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction work) or you are willing to get one
• You take initiative and work well in a team
