Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Engineer

About the job

As a service engineer you are responsible for keeping refrigeration systems running properly. You work independently, you are the main contact for the customer on site, and you make sure every job is done right.

What you'll do

• You install, maintain and repair refrigeration, freezing and air conditioning systems.
• You fix breakdowns and give good service to customers.
• You work independently and deal with different customers.
• You work with the customer to find solutions and make sure the job is done correctly.
• When needed, you work together with colleagues or a second installer.
• You represent the opdrachtgever (the client company that hired you) at the customer's location.

What we ask

• A thinking and working level equal to MBO (Dutch intermediate vocational education).
• STEK and/or F-gas certificate. STEK is a Dutch certification for working with refrigerants.
• A valid driving licence category B, BE preferred.
• A customer-focused attitude and a positive approach to work.
• Ability to work independently.
• Solution-focused thinking.
• Ability to handle pressure.
• Willingness to learn and keep developing.
• Flexible attitude to working hours, no strict 8-to-5 mindset.
