Refrigeration Systems Technician (Retail)

About the job

You work every day on modern refrigeration and freezer units in supermarkets. You keep them running, fix problems, and are the main contact for customers.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair complex refrigeration and freezer systems, including related heating systems
• Analyse and fix faults using modern data systems and measuring equipment
• Talk to customers about the condition of their systems and give them technical support
• Work on sustainability projects such as heat recovery systems and CO2 installations
• Work together with other technicians and planners to keep jobs organised and on track

What we ask

• Technical education at MBO level (Dutch intermediate vocational education)
• Category B driving licence and willingness to use a service van
• Experience with maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems
• Analytical skills to identify and solve faults
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude when giving technical support

What we offer

• Salary from €2,800 to €3,600 gross per month
• Permanent full-time contract
• Working week of 32 to 40 hours, adjusted to your preference
• 25 days of holiday and 8% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a statutory annual bonus on top of your salary)
