Heating Systems Technician

About the job

As a heating systems technician, you maintain installations that heat buildings in a sustainable way. You commission systems, prevent breakdowns, and give customers technical advice.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair district heating installations, substations, and network components
• Carry out NEN and SCIOS inspections and write reports
• Take part in on-call standby shifts and handle breakdowns
• Spot opportunities for improvement, document them, and advise customers

What we ask

• 3 to 5 years of experience in service, maintenance, or installation engineering
• Experience with electrical engineering, reading schematics, and heating installations
• Knowledge of switchgear, transfer stations, and heat substations
• Experience with NEN inspections and reviews; a VeWa certificate (Dutch certification for heating system inspectors) is a plus
• Willingness to work on-call standby shifts
• Category B driving licence
