Window and door service technician

About the job

You work as a service technician for windows and doors (kozijnen, the frames and surrounds). You visit customers in your region and carry out inspections and light repairs. You do not install new windows.

What you'll do

• Check and adjust window and door fittings
• Replace small parts (caps, seals) and lubricate and maintain moving parts
• Carry out light repairs so everything works properly
• Work at different locations every day, at private homes and at companies
• Work alone or with a team of 1-2 people, always in your own region

What we ask

• Good Dutch, you need it when dealing with private customers
• Category B driving licence
• Living near Tilburg
• Good physical fitness, the job involves climbing stairs and light lifting
• Neat appearance and a customer-friendly attitude
• Ability to provide a VOG (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag, a certificate of conduct from the Dutch government)

Employment conditions

• Salary from €2,600 net per month, rising with experience (range: €2,800-€3,500 gross per month)
• Daily allowance of €6.80 net for coffee
• Full-time, daytime hours, weekends off, no on-call duties
• Annual bonus of €350 net
• Quarterly bonus of €50 net if you have no sick days
• 24 holiday days plus 11.5 ATV days (reduction-of-working-hours days), 35.5 free days in total per year
• Pension contribution of 15.90% from your first day
• Good work clothing and safety shoes
• Tablet and work phone
• By arrangement: a company van with all tools
