Automotive Glass Technician

About the job

As an automotive glass technician, you assess, repair, and replace glass in vehicles. You are the main contact for customers and explain clearly what work you are doing. You also handle the paperwork correctly and help customers drive safely.

What you'll do

• Assess damage to automotive glass
• Repair and replace automotive glass
• Advise customers on safety and maintenance
• Install temporary solutions when a replacement window is not immediately available
• Recalibrate camera systems and driver assistance systems
• Handle the admin for completed work
• Carry out service tasks after repairs
