About the job
As a technical service engineer, you work on a wide range of technical projects in manufacturing. You work for clients such as shipyards and steel companies. The work takes place both at the workshop in Krimpen aan den IJssel and at client sites. After four weeks of onboarding, you work independently.
What you'll do
- Carry out maintenance work to keep machines and installations running well
- Find and fix technical faults quickly and effectively
- Make improvements to installations and optimise processes
- Share your knowledge and experience with less experienced engineers
- Work at different client locations, with regular travel
What we ask
- Completed MBO (Dutch vocational) qualification in electrical engineering
- VCA certificate (Dutch safety certification for contractors) or willingness to obtain it
- Category B driving licence and willingness to travel frequently
- Experience in maintenance and fault-finding
- Good communication skills, a client-focused attitude, and attention to detail
What we offer
- Salary from €3,550 to €4,250 gross per month
- Fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent employment
- Full time: 32 to 40 hours per week
- 25 holiday days and 13 ATV days (additional time-off days under the Dutch CAO, collective labour agreement) per year
- Your own service van for work on the road
- Training budget for certificates such as VCA and NEN 3140
